AHMET HAMDİ BAŞAR VE İKTİSADİ DEVLETÇİLİK

Abstract

Ahmet Hamdi Başar, gerek yaşadığı dönem gerekse aldığı görevler açısından cumhuriyet tarihi açısından önemli bir şahsiyet olarak dikkat çekmektedir.Çocukluk yılları Osmanlı Devleti'nin dağılma dönemine denk gelmiştir. Gençlik döneminde ise Milli Mücadele'nin içerisinde yer almış ve özellikle Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin izlediği ekonomik politikalarını yakından takip etmiştir.Gerek Başar'ın önemli olaylara yakından şahit olması gerekse aktif düşünce hayatı kendisine olan ilgili arttırmaktadır. Bu şahitliği yalnızca anıları ile dile getirmekle yetinmemiştir. Başar, hayatı boyunca sekiz dergi çıkarmış ve bu dergilerin yazı yükünü büyük oranda üzerine almıştır. Ayrıca kurduğu derneklerle sivil toplum hareketinin ülkede yerleşmesi açısında önemli bir görev ifa etmiştir.Özellikle Türkiye'nin iktisadi kalkınması amacıyla geliştirmiş olduğu iktisadi devletçilik teorisi dikkate değer bir çalışmadır. Bu teorisini İstanbul Limanı ve Süngercilik şirketlerinde hayata geçirerek sistemin başarısını kanıtlamaya çalışmıştır.Bir dönem Demokrat Parti'den milletvekili de olan Başar, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti tarihinde çalışmaları ile önemli bir figür olarak yerini almıştır.

Ahmet Hamdi Başar, both in lifetime of his life and an important figure in the history of the republic in terms of tasks is noticeable.His chilhood was during in the period of Ottoman Empire?s disintegration time. His youth in the period took place in the National Struggle, and he has been especially followed Turkish Republic economic policies closely.Both Başar have witnessed important events closely and actively increases the interest in his thought life. He has not been just settled this witness in his memories. Başar has done eight magazine during his life, and he largely took the obligation of writing these journals. In addition, he has been founded some civil society associations in the country has performed an important task in terms of the settlement.Especially for Turkey's economic development he has developed a remarkable study of the theory of economic statism. With his this theory to prove the success by implementing the system worked of Istanbul Harbour and the Sponge Company.Başar was in the Democratic Party deputy in a term, with work on the Republic of Turkey has taken its place as an important figure.
