TOPLUMSAL CİNSİYET BAĞLAMINDA MAVİ EN SICAK RENKTİR FİLMİNİN ALIMLANMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışma temel amacı Mavi En Sıcak Renktir filmi izleyicilerinin LGBTI bireylerine karşı düşüncelerini toplumsal cinsiyet kavramı bağlamı çerçevesinde incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Mavi En Sıcak Renktir filmi izleyicilerinin, filmde ki karakterlerinin cinsel eğilimleri ve bu cinsel eğilimlerini günlük hayata yansıtmaları hakkında ki düşüncelerinin alımlanması görüşme tekniği kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın doğasına daha uygun olacağı düşüncesiyle nitel bir yöntem kullanılmıştır, araştırma etnografi ile desteklenmiştir. Çalışmada kolay ulaşılabilir örneklem modeli ile kıstasları belirlenen Mavi En Sıcak Renktir filmini izleyen12 kişi ile görüşme yapılmış, bu görüşme neticesinde elde edilen bilgileri Stuart Hall'ın Alımlama Analizi ile incelenmiş ve analiz sonucunda temalar oluşturulmuştur. Görüşme sonucunda Mavi En Sıcak Renktir filmindeki karakterleri değerlendirirken katılımcıların toplumsal cinsiyet kavramı ve toplumsal kültür kavramından etkilendiği tespit edilmiştir. Toplumsal cinsiyet bağlamının ve toplumsal kültür kavramının, görüşmecilerin cinsel eğilimleri hakkında ne kadar etkili olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Toplumsal cinsiyet kavramının katılımcıların gündelik yaşamlarında yer edindiği görülmüştür.

The main purpose of this study is to examine audience thoughts of "Blue is the Warmest Color" movie towards LGBTI individuals within the concept of social gender. For this purpose, the reception of the viewers of the "Blue is the Warmest Color" movie about the sexual tendencies of the characters in the movie and their reflection of these sexual tendencies in daily life was examined by using the interview technique. Thinking that it would be more suitable for the nature of the study, a qualitative method was used, and the research was supported by ethnography. In the study, interviews were conducted with 12 people who watched the "Blue is the Warmest Color" movie, whose criteria were determined with an easily accessible sample model and information obtained as a result of this interview was analyzed with Stuart Hall's Reception Analysis and themes were formed as a result of the analysis. As a result of the interview, it was determined that the participants were affected by the concept of social gender and social culture while evaluating the characters in the "Blue is the Warmest Color" movie. It is understood how effective the social gender context and the concept of social culture are on the sexual orientation of the interviewees. It has been observed that the concept of social gender has a place in the daily lives of the participants.
