EĞİTİM FELSEFESİ BAĞLAMINDA EĞİTİMİN ONTOLOJİK VE EPİSTEMOLOJİK BOYUTU

Abstract

Eğitim felsefesi, eğitimin özünü anlamayı ve açıklamayı amaçlayan, bu sayede birçok kavram, teori ve kuramları içerisinde barındıran oldukça geniş bir araştırma alanıdır. Felsefenin bütünselliğini sağlayan ontoloji ve epistemoloji, eğitim felsefesinde eğitimin doğası ve özüne ilişkin bilgilerin bütünselliğini sağlamada da önemli rol oynarlar. Eğitimin ontolojisi; bireyin yetiştirilmesi, bireyin yaşamış olduğu dönem ve toplumun yapısını, eğiticinin özelliklerini araştırma konusu edinmektedir. Eğitimin epistemolojisi ise bilgi edinme sürecini, öğrenme eylemini ve bu eylemi sağlayan kuramları kendisine konu edinmektedir. Eğitim ve felsefenin sentezi sonucunda oluşan eğitim felsefesi, eğitim sürecinin amaç ve hedeflerini belirlerken, bireyin ve toplumun ihtiyaçlarına uygun eğitim ve öğrenme ortamını oluştururken, eğitime yönelik farklı yaklaşımların bireyin öğrenme sürecine etkisini konu edinmeye çalışırken eğitimin ontolojisi ve eğitimin epistemolojisinden faydalanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada da amaç eğitim felsefesini açıklamak, eğitim felsefesi kapsamında oluşan kavram, teori ve kuramları eğitimin ontolojisi ve eğitimin epistemolojisi ışığında açıklayarak, insan, eğiten ve eğitilen ilişkisini açıklamaktır.

Philosophy of education is a very broad research field that aims to understand and explain the essence of education and thus includes many concepts, theories and theories. Ontology and epistemology, which ensure the integrity of philosophy, also play an important role in ensuring the integrity of knowledge about the nature and essence of education in philosophy of education. The ontology of education is the subject of research on the upbringing of the individual, the structure of the period and society in which the individual lives, and the characteristics of the educator. The epistemology of education, on the other hand, deals with the process of acquiring knowledge, the act of learning and the theories that enable this act. The philosophy of education, which is the result of the synthesis of education and philosophy, benefits from the ontology of education and the epistemology of education while determining the aims and objectives of the educational process, creating an educational and learning environment suitable for the needs of the individual and society, and trying to address the effects of different approaches to education on the learning process of the individual. The aim of this study is to explain the philosophy of education, to explain the concepts, theories and theories formed within the scope of philosophy of education in the light of ontology of education and epistemology of education, and to explain the relationship between human, educator and educated.
