Yüksek Lisans Tezi STYROPOR KULLANILARAK ELDE EDİLEN HAFİF BETONUN KARAKTERİSTİK ÖZELLİKLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ Ahmet KAYA Fırat Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü 2002, sayfa ; 91 Hafif Beton; bağlayıcı çimento hamurunun geni estirilmesi suretiyle havalı, hücreli veya gaz beton yada sadece geleneksel iri agrega kullanarak elde edilebildiği gibi beton büeşiminde geleneksel agrega yerine hafif agrega kullanılarak da elde edilebilir. Bu çalışmada beton karışımında belirli oranlarda styropor kullanarak elde edilen hafif betonun karakteristik özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Türkiye dünyanın en etkin deprem kuşaklarından birinin üzerinde bulunmaktadır. Deprem haritasına göre, Türkiye topraklarının %92'si deprem kuşağı içerisinde bulunmakta, nüfusunun %96'sı bu kuşağa giren bölgelerde yaşamakta, büyük sanayi merkezlerinin %98'i bu bölgelerde bulunmaktadır. Taşıyıcı elamanlara gelen yüklerin fazlalığından dolayı yapının önemli derecede depremden etkilendiği bilinen bir gerçektir ve yalan geçmişteki depremler hafif betonun önemini güncelleştirmiştir. Styropor kullanılarak elde edilen hafif betonun taşıyıcı yapı elamanlarında kullanılabilirliği araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca Hafif beton üretiminde kullanılan agreganın fiziksel özellikleri de TS'ye göre belirlenmiştir. Beton numuneler üzerinde birim ağırlık, özgül ağırlık, su emme, boşluk oranı, basınç dayanımı, kalite katsayısı, elastisite modülü ve eğilmede çekme dayanımı deneyleri uygulanmış ve sonuçlan değerlendirilmiştir. II ABSTRACT Masters Thesis INVESTIGATION OF CHARACTERISTIC PROPERTIES OF LIGHT CONCRETE PRODUCED BY USING STYROPOR Ahmet KAYA Fırat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Construction Education 2002, page; 91 Light concrete can be produced by adding light aggregate instead of conventional aggregate into concrete beside only conventional large aggregate or expanding concrete mortaz, porous, gas or cell concrete can also be produced. In this study the characteristic properties of the light concrete with styropor in certain awounts were investigated. Turkey is on one of the most active earthquake route of the world. According to the earthquake map 92 % of Turkey is in this zone and 96 % of the population live there. The majority 98 % of the important industrial plants are built in this zone. It is well known that a building is considerably influenced by the earthquake due to the excessive loading into the load carrying elements. Therefore the recent catastropic earthquakes have mode the light concrete popular. In the study, the usability of the light concrete produced zulth styropor addition on the load carrying elements was investigated. The physical properties of the light aggregate used in the production of light concrete were determined according to the Turkish standards. The unit weight, specific weight, porosity, quality coelficient, elasticity modulus were determined and water absorption, compression, bending tests were carried out.
