Golbol oyuncularında antrenmanın bazı oksidatif stres parametreleri üzerine etkisinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Golbol, görme engelliler tarafından oynanan paralimpik bir spor dalıdır. Fiziksel gelişim özelliklerinin yanında onların sosyal ve ruhsal gelişimlerine de olumlu katkıları olan bir aktivite olarak tüm dünyada yaygın olarak görme engelli bireyler arasında oynanmaktadır. Bu çalışma, 3 aylık golbol antrenmanlarının, golbol oyuncularında bazı oksidatif stres, irisin ve BDNF parametreleri üzerine etkisini tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya Elazığ ili golbol takımında oynayan görme engelli sporcu (n=10) deney grubu ve sedanter bireyler (n=10) kontrol grubu olarak toplamda 20 erkek görme engelli katılmıştır. Araştırmamızda, deney grubuna 3 ay süresince, haftada 3 gün ve günde 60-90 dakika arasında olacak şekilde antrenman protokolleri uygulanmıştır. Deney grubunun antrenmanlar öncesi kanlarındaki oksidatif stres belirteçleri olan Malondialdehit (MDA), Sodyum Dismutaz (SOD), İrisin, Beyin Kaynaklı Nörotrofik Faktör (BDNF) değerleri, ELISA yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edildi. SOD ve MDA düzeylerinin kontrol grupta deney grubuna göre daha yüksek ortalama değerlere sahip olduğu bulundu. Ayrıca, BDNF düzeyi deney grubunda 4.57±4.04, kontrol grupta 3.65±3.93; irisin düzeyi deney grubunda 24.65±28.17, kontrol grupta 23.05±26.10 olarak pozitif yönde anlamlı korelasyon bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Bu çalışmadan elde ettiğimiz verilerin sonuçlarına göre, golbol oyuncularında antrenmanın oksidatif strese neden olduğu görülmüştür.

Goalball is a Paralympic sport played by visually impaired individuals. Widely played worldwide among visually impaired people, it is an activity that positively contributes to their social and psychological development in addition to their physical development. This study was conducted to determine the effect of 3 months of goalball training on some oxidative stress, irisin, and BDNF parameters in goalball players. The study included a total of 20 visually impaired male participants: 10 visually impaired athletes from the goalball team in Elazığ province as the experimental group and 10 sedentary individuals as the control group. In our study, the experimental group underwent training protocols for 3 months, 3 days a week, for 60-90 minutes a day. Before training, the oxidative stress markers Malondialdehyde (MDA), Sodium Dismutase (SOD), Irisin, and Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) levels in the blood of the experimental group were analyzed using the ELISA method. SOD and MDA levels were found to be higher mean values in the control group compared to the experimental group. Furthermore, BDNF levels were 4.57±4.04 in the experimental group and 3.65±3.93 in the control group; irisin levels were 24.65±28.17 in the experimental group and 23.05±26.10 in the control group, showing a significant positive correlation (p<0.05). According to the results of this study, training has been shown to cause oxidative stress in goalball players.
