ÖZLİ ÎCÂZ VE İTNÂB ARASINDAKİ DELİLLERİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI [91-103]

Abstract

Belâğat ilminin meânî tabirlerinden olan îcâz lügatte, az sözle çok şey anlatmak veya sözü kısa kesmek manalarına gelir. Belâğat ilminde ise, kelimelerin manayı ifade edecek ölçüden az olmasıdır. İtnâb ise lügatte, sözü uzatmak veya sözü abartmak anlamlarına gelir. Belâğat ilminde ise, lafzın manadan fazla olmasıdır. Îcâz ve İtnâb Câhiliyye döneminde ortaya çıkmış İslam’ın ilk yıllarında belirgin bir şekilde kullanılmış ve Abbasi döneminde ise kavramlaşarak edebiyat sahasında konu edinilmiştir. Îcâz ile itnâbın birini diğerinden üstün görmek doğru değildir. Çünkü her birinin kendine has kuralları vardır. Yerinde kullanılan itnâb, kendi yerinde kullanılan îcâza benzer. Bunlardan birinin mutlak olarak üstünlüğünü savunmak temelden yoksundur

Brachylogy which is one of the meanings of Eloquence means to express something with few words. In science of Eloquence it means to express the word with few words. Periphrasis which is one of the meaning concept of Eloquence means to exaggerate in science of Eloquence it means to express less meanings with more words. Brachylogy and Periphrasis appeared during Pre-Islamic period Jahiliyya , it was used during the first years of the Islam and was conceptualised during the period of Abbasid and was used as a subject in the field of literature. The priority claim between Brachylogy and Periphrasis is not proper. Because each one has its specific rules. The proper İtnab is same as proper İcaz. The priority claim between them in terms of stability and position has no basis
