İLKÖĞRETİM OKUL YÖNETİCİLERİNİN POZİTİF YÖNETİM YAKLAŞIMLARININ ÖĞRENCİ BAŞARISINA ETKİSİ

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; Malatya ili merkezindeki ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan yöneticilerin olumlu yönetim anlayışının öğrenci başarısına etkisini tespit etmektir. Olumlu yönetim anlayışının ne şekilde algılandığını, okul yöneticilerinin bu anlayışı nasıl uygulandığını ve bu uygulamaların hem öğrencileri hem de öğretmenleri nasıl etkilediği tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.Bu araştırmanın evrenini, 2006 ? 2007 eğitim ? öğretim yılında Malatya ili sınırları içerisinde bulunan ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise Malatya il merkezinde bulunan ilköğretim okullarından 2006 ? 2007 eğitim öğretim yılında en başarılı olan ilk 10 okul, orta derecede başarılı 10 okul ve en az başarılı olan 10 okulda görev yapan toplam 400 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır.Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, 40 madde ve 5 alt boyuttan oluşan okullarda olumlu yönetim anlayışı ölçeği kullanılmıştır.Araştırmadan elde edilen verilerin istatiksel analizleri için SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science, 13) paket programı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, levene's ,?t?, mann-whitney U, Kruskal ? Wallis H, Pearson Korelasyonu ve Basit Regresyon Analizi testleri kullanılan araştırmada, hata payı üst sınırı 0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir.Araştırma sonuçlarından elde edilen bulgulara göre, olumlu yönetim anlayışını benimseyerek okulu yöneten okul yöneticilerinin bulunduğu okullardaki okul kazandırma oranının daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür.Anahtar Kelimeler: Pozitif Yönetim, Yönetici, Okul Başarısı

The purpose of this research is to determine the effects of positive managment approach on the success of students at elementary schools in Malatya central province. We want to find out some questions like; how is positive management understood by administrators of the elementary schools, how is this understanding level being practiced at elementary schools and we also wanted to find out how are the students and teachers have been affected by the management knowledge of the administrators of schools.The universe of the resech consists of the elementary school teachers who work in the different schools of the central province of Malatya. 400 elementary school teachers who work in 30 different schools have been taken into the pattern of the reserch. The schools were chosen in acordence to their success in the education year 2006 ? 2007. 10 most successful elementary schools, 10 medium level successful elementary schools and 10 less successful elementary schools were choosen amoung the elementary schools in central province of Malatya as the the pattern of the research.In the reserch Positive Management Approach Questionare, which has 40 questions and five liker ? type scale, was used to get data. SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science, 13) packet programme has been used in order to analyse the statistical datas determined at the research. frequency, Percent, Arithmetic Mean, Standart Deviation, Kruskal-Wallis, Pearson Correlation, Mann-Whitney U tests have been used for the evulation of the data, the upper limit of erronous ratio has been accepted as 0.05.According to the evaluation of data related to place of work; schools, which have been managed in acordence to the positive management approach, are found more successiful.Key Words: Positive Management, Administrator, Success.
