DOĞU ANADOLU BÖLGESINDEKI SPOR LISELERINDE GÖREV YAPAN YÖNETICILERIN KRIZ YÖNETIMI YETERLILIK DÜZEYLERININ INCELENMESI

Abstract

Tüm örgütlerde olduğu gibi eğitim kurumlarında da uyumlu bir çalışma sürecinin sağlanabilmesi için bireylerin farklılıklarını bir kenara bırakıp grup normlarına uygun hareket etmeleri önemlidir. Bu önemle çalışmamızda Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi'ndeki spor liseleri yöneticilerinin kriz yönetimi yeterlilik düzeylerinin incelenmesi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmanın evrenini Türkiye'de Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı spor liseleri oluştururken, örneklemi ise Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi'ndeki 11 spor lisesinden 48 yöneticisi oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak kişisel bilgi formu ve kriz yönetimi ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, doğrudan örneklem üzerinde yapılmış ve elde edilen verilerin analizinde istatistik programı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlemesinde frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, Mann-Whitney U ve Kruscal Wallis H testleri kullanılmıştır. İstatistiksel analizlerin anlamlılık düzeyi 0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, spor liseleri yöneticilerinin kriz anındaki kriz yönetimi yeterliliklerinin orta düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, seminerlere katılımın kriz anı faaliyetlerine etkisi olduğu bulunmuş, seminere hiç katılmayan grup ile iki veya daha fazla seminer katılımı olan grup arasındaki istatistiki farkların oluştuğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırma bulguları, spor liselerinde kriz yönetimi süreçlerinin etkinliğinin artırılabilmesi için eğitim ve mesleki gelişim olanaklarının genişletilmesinin gerekliliğine işaret etmektedir. Eğitim kurumlarında etkili bir kriz yönetimi stratejisi geliştirilebilmesi, yalnızca yöneticilerin kriz anlarında sergiledikleri tutum ve davranışlara değil; aynı zamanda kriz öncesi hazırlık aşamaları ile kriz sonrası iyileştirme süreçlerinde gösterdikleri yetkinliklerin de geliştirilmesine bağlıdır. As in all organizations, it is important for individuals in educational institutions to set aside their differences and act in accordance with group norms to ensure a harmonious working process. In line with this importance, the present study aims to examine the crisis management competency levels of sports high school administrators in the Eastern Anatolia Region. The population of the study consists of sports high schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in Turkey, while the sample includes 48 administrators from 11 sports high schools located in the Eastern Anatolia Region. A personal information form and a crisis management scale were used as data collection tools. The research was conducted directly on the sample, and the data were analyzed using the statistic software. In the analysis of the data, frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, analysis of Mann-Whitney U and Kruscal Wallis H tests were employed. The level of significance for the statistical analyses was set at 0.05. According to the results of the study, the crisis management competencies of sports high school administrators during times of crisis were found to be at a moderate level. Furthermore, participation in seminars was found to have an impact on crisis-time activities; a statistically significant difference was identified between the group that had never attended seminars and the group that had attended two or more seminars. The findings of the study indicate the necessity of expanding educational and professional development opportunities in order to enhance the effectiveness of crisis management processes in sports high schools. Developing an effective crisis management strategy in educational institutions depends not only on the attitudes and behaviors exhibited by administrators during crises, but also on improving their competencies in the preparatory phase prior to the crisis and in the post-crisis recovery processes.
