dc.description.abstractIn this paper, we study a cold standby repairable system consisting of two non-identical components and a single repair facility with one repairman. It is assumed that, one of the two components is operating while the other is in cold standby and also two components follow a geometric process. Under these assumptions, at first we present Laplace-Stieltjes transform of the system lifetime and then we give some useful inequalities about the mean lifetime of the system.
