Sebîlürreşâd (Sırât-ı Müstakîm) ve İctihâd Dergilerinin Din Eğitimi Açısından Mukayesesi

Abstract

II. Meşrutiyet’e girerken din, toplum ve eğitim alanında felsefi ve ideolojik yaklaşımlar, din eğitimi anlayışını yakından etkilemiştir. Bu etkiyi dönemin önde gelen yayınlarından olan Sebîlürreşâd (Sırât-ı Müstakîm) ve İctihad dergilerinde ele alınan din eğitimi ile ilgili yazı ve makalelerde somut bir şekilde gözlemlemek mümkündür. Sebîlürreşâd İslamcı kimliği ile ön plana çıkarken, İctihad Batıcı paradigmanın önemli bir temsilcisidir. Bu dergiler din eğitimi meselelerini takip etmiş, ilmi ve felsefi bir bakış açısı sunmuştur. II. Meşrutiyet Döneminde dergicilik faaliyeti içerisinde din eğitimi ile ilgili olarak daha çok Sebîlürreşâd üzerinden okumaların yapıldığı görüldüğünden İctihad üzerinden karşılaştırmalı bir çalışmaya ihtiyaç duyulmuştur. Çalışmanın amacı, dergiler ekseninde günümüze uzanan boyutu ile din eğitimi sorunlarının çözümüne ve din eğitimi tarihine katkı sağlamaktır. Sebîlürreşâd Ağustos 1908 ile Mart 1925 yılları arasında 641 sayı, İctihad Eylül 1904 ile Aralık 1932 tarihleri arasında 358 sayı yayımlanmıştır. Araştırma, Sebîlürreşâd’ın 1908 ile 1925, İctihad’ın ise 1904 ile 1932 yılları arasını kapsamaktadır. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden dokümantasyon metodu kullanılmıştır. Yazarlarının söylemlerine bakılarak dergilerin tamamının taranması ve içerik analizleri ile ulaşılan din eğitimine dair veriler mukayese edilmiştir. Çalışma ile farklı ideolojilere sahip iki derginin din eğitimi konularında daha çok benzer fikirler taşıdıkları, ayrıldıkları konularda ise ideolojik yaklaşımlarının etkisinin olduğu ve güncelliğini koruyan bazı meselelerin çözümüne dair öneriler ortaya koydukları sonucuna varılmıştır.

While entering the 2nd Constitutional Era (II. Mesrutiyet), philosophical and ideological approaches in the fields of religion, society and education closely affected the understanding of religious education. It is possible to observe this effect in a concrete way in the writings and articles about religious education that are discussed in Sebilurresad and Ictihad Journals, which are the leading publications of the period. While Sebilurresad stood out with its Islamic identity, Ictihad was an important representative of the Westernist paradigma. Journals followed the issues of religious education and offered a scientific and philosophical perspective. Since it was seen that readings on religious education were mostly made through the journalism activities of Sebilurresad in the 2nd Constitutional Era, a comparative study was needed on the basis of Ictihad. The aim of this study is to contribute to the solutions of religious education problems and the history of religious education with its dimension extending to the present day on the axis of journals. Sebilurresad was published 641 issues between August 1908 and March 1925, Ictihad published 358 issues between September 1904 and December 1932. This research covers Sebilurresad's years between 1908 and 1925, and Ictihad's between 1904 and 1932. In the research, the documentation method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. By looking at the discourses of the authors, the data on religious education reached through the scanning of all the journals and the content analysis were compared. In this research, it was concluded that two journals with different ideologies had more similar ideas on religious education, and that their ideological approaches had an effect on the issues they differed, and they both offered suggestions for the solution of some issues that are still up to date.
