ORTAOKUL MATEMATİK ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN SURİYELİ ÖĞRENCİLERLE YAŞADIĞI PROBLEMLERİN VE ONLARA YÖNELİK TUTUMLARIN BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışma, sınıfında Suriyeli öğrenci bulunan ortaokul matematik öğretmenlerinin yaşadıkları problemlerin ve tutumların çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi amaçlanarak tarama modelinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini basit seçkisiz yöntemle seçilen 2022- 2023 eğitim öğretim yılı 1. Dönem'de Hatay ilinde görev yapan 100 ortaokul matematik öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak "Demografik Bilgi Formu", "Mülteci Öğrenci Tutum Ölçeği" ve "Sınıfında Mülteci Öğrenci Bulunan Sınıf Öğretmenlerinin Yaşadığı Problemler Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS (Statistical Package Program for Social Science) 21.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Betimsel istatistik tekniklerinden frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, bağımsız örneklem t-testi ve ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin mülteci öğrencilere ilişkin problemlerinin "orta düzeyde", tutumlarının ise "iyi düzeyde" olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Problem puan ortalamalarının sadece cinsiyete göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği bulunarak kadın öğretmenlerin erkeklere göre daha fazla sorun yaşadığı belirlenmiştir. Tutum puan ortalamalarının cinsiyet, kıdem ve mültecilere yönelik eğitim alma durumuna göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği; yaş, bölüm, öğrenim durumu, pozisyon ve öğrenci sayısına göre anlamlı farklılık göstermediği tespit edilmiştir.

This study was conducted in a survey model with the aim of examining the problems and attitudes experienced by secondary school mathematics teachers who have Syrian students in their classrooms in terms of various variables. The sample of the research consists of 100 secondary school mathematics teachers working in Hatay province in the 1st Term of the 2022- 2023 academic year, selected by a simple random method. "Demographic Information Form", "Refugee Student Attitude Scale" and "Problems Experienced by Classroom Teachers with Refugee Students in Their Classrooms Scale" were used as data collection tools in the research. The data were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package Program for Social Science) 21.0 program. Descriptive statistical techniques such as frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, independent sample t-test and ANOVA test were used. According to the results of the analysis, it was determined that the problems of the teachers participating in the research regarding refugee students were at a "medium level" and their attitudes were at a "good level". It was determined that the problem score averages showed a significant difference only by gender, and that female teachers had more problems than men. Attitude score averages showed significant differences according to gender, seniority and education for refugees; It was determined that there was no significant difference according to age, department, education level, position and number of students
