The Investigations of Saliva (pH, Bicarbonate, Chloride, Sodium, Potassium) and Feces (Sodium, Potassium) in Cows

Abstract

In this work, the values of pH, bicarbonate (HCO3), chloride (Cl), sodium (Na) and  potassium (K) in samples of saliva and the values of sodium and potassium in samples of feces in healthy cows of the Research and Practise Farm of Firat University were determined. The mean values of pH, bicarbonate, chloride, sodium and  potassium in samples of saliva were 8.79+0.037, 114.49+6.85 mval/L, 14.69+21 mval/L, 108.69+7.0 mval/L and 7.27+0.71 mval/L respectively. The mean values of sodium and potassium in samples of feces were 2.90+0.58 mval/L and 18.26+1.42 mval/L.

Bu calismada, Firat Universitesi arastirma deneme ciftligine ait saglikli ineklerin salya orneklerinde pH, bikarbonat (HCO3), klor (Cl), sodyum (Na) ve  potasyum (K) degerleri, gaita orneklerinde ise Na ve K degerleri olculdu. Salya orneklerinde pH, bikarbonat, klor, sodyum ve  potasyum ortalamalari sirasiyla .79+0.037, 114.49+6.85 mval/L, 14.69+21 mval/L, 108.69+7.0 mval/L ve 7.27+0.71 mval/L, gaita orneklerinde ise sodyum ortalamasi 2.90+0.58 mval/L ve potasyum ortalamasi 18.26+1.42 mval/L olarak tespit edildi.
